We were delighted this week to welcome to school Mr Lee Pitcher, Member of Parliament for the Doncaster East and Isle of Axholme constituency.

Lee met with Headmaster, David Holland, followed by a tour of the school, meeting pupils from Year 1 upwards. He then joined the School Council who went through their important work in school, plus their links with Doncaster Youth Council.

Finally, Lee met with our Sixth Form Politics students, who grilled Lee on a range of issues, from inheritance tax to the war in Ukraine. It was wonderful to host Lee and would like to thank him for his time spent with us, and his willingness to engage with our school community.

We look forward to welcoming him again in the future.
