Hill House School Mathematicians Triumph in Year 10 Maths Feast Competition ​​​​​​​

In a display of exemplary problem-solving and teamwork, a team of four Year 10 mathematicians from Hill House School emerged victorious once again in the highly competitive Maths Feast event. Organised by the Advanced Mathematics Support Programme (AMSP), the event saw participation from 11 other teams from Doncaster and surrounding areas.

The triumphant team from Hill House School, comprised of Zac Hall, Leighton Chen, Lilly Geraghty, and James Towler, showcased exceptional mathematical prowess and collaboration throughout the competition. Their victory marks the second consecutive year that Hill House School has claimed the top spot in this esteemed competition.

Maths Feast is a fun educational challenge, designed to test problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills among Year 10 students. The event features multiple rounds, each requiring different mathematical skills and strategies for success. With each event spanning between two to three hours, participants engage in a rigorous yet rewarding mathematical feast.

Deputy Head of Mathematics at Hill House School, Mrs Aysha Bennett, commended the team for their outstanding achievement.
