Children in Need - 50's style!

We are thrilled to announce that, together, the Hill House school community, raised a grand total of £2,100.00 for BBC’s Children in Need day, which took place on Friday 17 November.

Coinciding with the school’s production of Grease that week, children and staff were invited to come into school dressed in the 1950’s iconic style and they did not disappoint – there were lots of T-Birds and Pink Ladies across the school, all in return for a donation to this wonderful charity. A total of £1,600 was raised in donations across the day and a further 500 was raised in donations in return for an American-Style pancake breakfast!

We were excited to welcome Look North back to the school as they filmed some of our Junior School children and the cast of our Grease musical which was shown during their popular tea-time update on Children in Need from across the region.
