Sixth Form Residential Fun

Last weekend, our new Lower Sixth took part in their first residential trip as Sixth Formers, to Kingswood Activity Centre in the Dearne Valley.

The three-day trip allowed them to develop leadership skills and friendships whilst working together and challenging themselves in lots of ways.

The weekend’s adventure included zip-wires, raft building, archery, and climbing as well as many team-building activities

Miss Chappell, Head of Sixth Form said “We had a fantastic weekend at Kingswood!  This annual residential visit is a key part of the induction to Sixth Form life at Hill House, ensuring that the pupils feel welcomed and settled into their new stage of school-life, and have the opportunity to develop new friendships that will support them through these very important A Level years.”
