The season saw our U11 Boys crowned North of England Champions, producing a series of impressive performances to secure the prestigious title. The U14 Girls were crowned North East Champions before progressing to the National Finals, while the U14 Boys made history by becoming the first boys' hockey team at Hill House to reach the National Finals.

Our U18 Girls also enjoyed a memorable campaign, reaching the final of their first ever indoor hockey competition, winning four of their five group matches along the way. Meanwhile, the U13 Boys finished as Yorkshire & North East runners-up, with the U12 Boys securing an excellent third-place finish in the regional finals.

These achievements come during the first year of Head of Hockey, Mr Joe Barker, and hockey teacher, Miss Taryn Allen, whose extensive playing and coaching experience has helped strengthen the school's thriving hockey programme.

Reflecting on an exceptional season, Head of Hockey, Mr Joe Barker, said:

"Since arriving at Hill House, I have been genuinely overwhelmed by the depth of talent, enthusiasm and commitment shown by our pupils across every age group. This season's achievements reflect the hard work, determination and team spirit demonstrated by every player, as well as the dedication of our coaching staff. To see our teams competing, and succeeding, at regional and national level has been incredibly rewarding, and I am immensely proud of everything they have accomplished."
