Hill House Pupils Celebrate Outstanding LAMDA Examination Success

Hill House School is celebrating another outstanding set of LAMDA examination results, following the June Junior and Senior examination session.
All 44 pupils entered for the examinations achieved a pass, with an exceptional 31 pupils awarded Distinction and the remaining candidates achieving Merit grades. The results highlight the continued success of the school's LAMDA programme and the commitment shown by pupils in developing their confidence, communication and performance skills.
Special congratulations go to Year 10 pupil Cayden Nandu-Warren, who achieved a Distinction in the prestigious Grade 8 Gold Speaking in Public examination. As well as representing one of LAMDA's highest graded qualifications, Grade 8 also carries 30 UCAS tariff points, providing valuable recognition for future university applications.
Since becoming a fully registered LAMDA Centre at the beginning of the academic year, Hill House has continued to offer pupils the opportunity to study towards internationally recognised qualifications in speech, drama and public speaking. LAMDA examinations help pupils develop confidence, resilience and effective communication skills that support both academic achievement and personal growth.
Mrs Danielle Byrne, Hill House's newly appointed Head of Drama and LAMDA Teacher, said:
"I am absolutely delighted with our pupils' achievements in the June examination session. To see every candidate pass, with so many achieving distinctions, is a wonderful reflection of the hard work, determination and enthusiasm they have shown throughout the year. LAMDA is about so much more than examinations. It equips young people with confidence, communication skills and self-belief that will benefit them throughout their lives. I couldn't be prouder of everything our pupils have accomplished."
The excellent June results continue to build on the success of Hill House's growing LAMDA programme, reinforcing the school's commitment to providing enriching opportunities that prepare pupils for success both inside and beyond the classroom.
