Following the review, Rosslyn Park has confirmed that Hill House are to be recognised as joint winners alongside the re-named West Wales Combined team. In addition, Hill House player Isobel Fortune Davies has been named joint winner of the Limitless Player of the Tournament award, in recognition of her outstanding performance and commitment throughout last year’s competition.
Rosslyn Park has also announced that it has introduced clearer and more robust regulations, including 'a more transparent and detailed process for combination teams, to ensure fairness and clarity in future tournaments'.
The Hill House team have now received their Winners' Shield and official team medals from Rosslyn Park and were thrilled to be presented with them by Headmaster, Mr David Holland, during assembly in front of the whole school, today.
Headmaster Mr David Holland said: “Hill House is proud to have supported Rosslyn Park in this important investigation. It has been vital for us to play a leading role in ensuring that the sport is fair, transparent, and taken seriously as girls’ rugby continues to grow and flourish. We are also pleased that this matter has now come to a close, and we remain committed to supporting the development of the game and the integrity of competition at every level.”
