Headmaster’s Award for Eco-House Project

The latest Headmaster’s Award has been presented to Year 8 pupil, Lucy Barker, for her outstanding eco-house project.
Lucy’s model demonstrated an impressive understanding of renewable energy and sustainable living. Her eco-friendly design featured both a working wind turbine and functional solar panels, combining creativity with practical innovation.
The Headmaster’s Award is given to pupils who go above and beyond in their academic or extracurricular work. It is part of our ongoing celebrations after Hill House was named Independent Secondary School of the Year North 2025 by The Sunday Times Parent Power School Guide.
Congratulations to Lucy on this fantastic achievement – a wonderful example of the talent and dedication of our pupils at Hill House School.
