Year 6 Enjoy Unforgettable Adventure on the Isle of Wight

Year 6 had a fantastic week away on the Isle of Wight, filled with fun, learning and unforgettable experiences.
Culturally, the children explored Shanklin Chine, where they discovered the history of the PLUTO line, a vital part of the WWII war effort. They also stepped into the past at Osborne House, the beloved residence of Queen Victoria in her later years, and delved even further back in time during a visit to Brading Roman Villa, where they learned about life in Roman Britain.
In addition to these enriching visits, the pupils also enjoyed plenty of outdoor fun. They spent time relaxing and playing on the beach, braved the thrilling attractions at Blackgang Chine, and had a splash-filled adventure at the aqua park at Tapnell Farm Park.
It was a week full of discovery, excitement and shared memories that we’re sure will stay with them for years to come!
