Headmaster's Awards for Creativity and Sporting Success

At Hill House School, we take immense pride in recognising the outstanding achievements and commitment of our pupils. On Friday, we were delighted to present more Headmaster’s Awards, honouring our pupils who have demonstrated exceptional talent and dedication in their extracurricular pursuits.

Congratulations to Sophie Ebden and Ella Burton, who received their awards for their outstanding performances as part of the U16 Girls' Rugby team at the prestigious Rosslyn Park tournament. Their skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship were a credit to the school, and we are thrilled to celebrate their success.

In addition, a special group of pupils were recognised for their creative contributions through their expert Make-Up application skills. Their work brought the characters of The Wizard of Oz to life during our recent school production, with cast make-up that received praise for its creativity and quality. The same group also demonstrated their talents during our recent charity day, where their face-painting efforts helped to raise significant funds for a wonderful cause.

The Headmaster’s Award is presented to celebrate pupils who demonstrate exceptional qualities and dedication to extracurricular activities. This initiative comes in recognition of our recent achievement of being named Independent Secondary School of the Year North 2025 by The Sunday Times' Parent Power School Guide.

Congratulations to all of these award winners — we are incredibly proud of you!
