Summer Sounds Delight at Hill House

On Wednesday evening, families gathered at Hill House School for our much-loved annual Summer Picnic Concert.

Set against the beautiful backdrop of the school grounds, pupils from as young as Year 3 took to the stage to showcase their musical talents. From the Junior Choir to the Jazz Orchestra, the audience was treated to an evening of outstanding performances, with pupils demonstrating remarkable confidence, skill and enthusiasm.

Mrs Bodman, Head of Practical Music, said:

"The evening was another wonderful showcase of the musical talent at Hill House. The pupils have worked incredibly hard on their performances, and it was a pleasure to provide them with the opportunity to share their talents with family and friends.

I would also like to wish the very best of luck to our Senior Choir and the Senior Guitar Orchestra, who have been selected to perform at the National Music for Youth Finals in Birmingham next weekend. We are incredibly proud of their achievement and know they will represent Hill House brilliantly."

Thank you to all the families who joined us for such a special evening and to our dedicated music staff for organising another memorable concert. It was a wonderful celebration of our pupils' hard work, talent and dedication, and a fitting way to round off another successful year of music at Hill House.
